They developed tires that accelerate and brake well in the snow, and offer ample bite on both climbs and descents. And when the conditions are just too icy for rubber alone, they also offer aluminum carbide studs. 45NRTH’s studs work the same way chains work on car tires in the snow, digging down through the slippery surface to secure the grip.
