3.5mm comfort in a thinner package

Step up your cockpit comfort game with Silca’s nastro Cuscino 2.5mm bar tape. It’s extremely comfortable, excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions, reduces vibrations, and is designed to be significantly more durable than typical handlebar tape. With Silca’s optimization, the 2.5mm thick cushioning is similar to 3.5mm thick bar tape from other brands. This is all thanks to a unique combination of SILCAthane, SILCAlon, and Visco-elastic adhesive. A full adhesive-backed “butterfly” is included to wrap around the lever clamp area for full and secure coverage. The laser engraved aluminum/composite end plugs not only look great but are designed to last. No need to be worried about damaging the bar tape, with Silca’s 1-year crash replacement warranty you’ll be covered if anything happens within the first year of use.

My Favourite Bar Tape

Bar tape is very personal, but the Silca Cuscino is currently my favourite. Only gave it 4 out of 5 stars as I much prefer the 3.75mm version. I like the extra vibration resistance thicker tape provides. I actually wish Silca would produce a 5mm version as well. Exceptional grip in both wet and dry conditions. And while it's not cheap, it last much longer than your basic cork tape.
