Pivot Firebird Ride GX Eagle Transmission Bike

Fiery Speed

Enduro riding is all about getting to the bottom of the hill as fast as possible. With longer suspension and an aggressive frame geometry, these bikes can confidently descend at high speeds. The Pivot Firebird Ride GX Eagle Transmission Bike has modern geometry tailored for aggressive riding and has ultimate stability. A relaxed head angle, long reach, and generous wheelbase are the key ingredients of high-speed composure. The lightweight carbon fiber frame has size-specific ride tuning to ensure every rider from 5'2" to 6'9" has a bike that feels perfect and performs at the optimum level for their size. The frame uses 170mm of travel on the front and 165mm of travel on the rear. The frame is compatible with up to 29x2.6" or 27.5x2.8" tires so you can maximize your traction. The Firebird also features 12x157mm SuperBoost hub spacing, UDH rear derailleur hanger, internal cable routing, a water bottle mount inside the frame on all frame sizes, and an adjustable geometry flip chip upper link mount.

The Ride GX Eagle Transmission version of the Pivot Firebird comes with a SRAM GX Eagle Transmission wireless electronic 12-speed drivetrain. With a 32T chainring up front and a 10-52T cassette on the rear, you'll be able to climb with no issue and pedal through difficult terrain much easier. SRAM Code R 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide superior stopping power so you can descend with confidence. DT Swiss M1900 wheels are paired with Maxxis Assegai tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the size-specific dropper post, you'll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle.

Pivot Cycles Demo Day February 15, 2025

Are you ready to hit the trails and test out some of the sickest bikes Pivot has to offer? Well, mark your calendars because on February 15th, 2025, Jenson USA is hosting an awesome Pivot Cycles Demo event at our Riverside HQ, located at 1615 Eastridge Ave, Riverside CA, 92507.

Gear up to ride our local trails in Sycamore Canyon on some seriously rad Pivot Cycles. Whether you're a seasoned rider or just starting out, this demo day is going to be full of stoke and good times!

Demo event will run 8 am to 4 pm

Bikes will be released for demo from 9 am until 2 pm, last riders to return before 4pm.

This Bike Might Change the Way You Look at E-bikes: Orbea Rise V1 Long-term Review!

We get a lot of questions about e-bikes, especially the Orbea Rise, so we figured we’d throw up a quick long-term review of one from one of the employees here at Jenson, Alex. Alex lives up in the mountains here in Southern California and has to do a fair bit of climbing and pedaling around at his local trail system to get to trails. Because he is in such high elevation, oxygen levels are different and make it a bit more difficult to breathe.
