Bad weather is enough for most riders to put their bikes away for a season. Having an indoor trainer will allow you to continue riding through the bad weather. While it's not as fun as riding outside, smart trainers can connect to popular virtual training apps so it's almost like you're outside. The Garmin Tacx Flux S Smart Trainer checks all the boxes when you're looking for a smart direct drive trainer. It can connect with popular training apps and software like Zwift, Garmin Tacx, and TrainerRoad. It provides a smooth ride, is incredibly silent, and provides accurate readings of power and speed. The trainer can simulate inclines up to a 10% grade and can provide a max sprint resistance of 1500 watts.
The Flux S Smart Trainer can be used as a stand-alone trainer without having to plug it in. It follows a progressive power curve and the resistance will increase progressively when you ride faster. It features intuitive LED lights that provide a visual confirmation when the trainer is powered and connected to a device over ANT+ of Bluetooth.

No there is not. You can either swap out the one from your existing rear wheel, or purchase another cassette. One word of warning, if you get a cassette that’s a different size than your existing cassette, you will have to index your gears, and it is challenging to do that on the trainer. You will need two people, one to move the pedals, and another to index your gears.
