Immersive Waxing of Chains

Dripping hot wax, chains, immersion, quiet riding. Obviously, we're talking about cleaning your drivetrain. If you're looking to take your drivetrain performance and cleanliness to the next level, you'll want to use chain wax. The Silca Wax Melting System is a compact at-home kit for immersive waxing for chains. The wax warmer, drip stand, and cable coupler are included to make you ready to roll for having the cleanest, quietest, and most efficient drivetrain possible. The wax melter has a vented clear lid to retain heat while being able to verify the wax is fully melted. The chain hanging stand allows for a no-mess drying period where you can allow excess wax to drip right back into the pot to use for the next application. The notched base retains the melter in place and holds the chain coupler securely in place. The chain coupler has a steel cable that is threaded on one side allowing it to be looped through your chain and secured on the other side. Dip your chain in the wax, agitate, and hang, all without getting wax anywhere you don't want it or touching a pot of hot wax.

I like this. It's expensive for what it is, but it works great. The company owner tells you straight up in the YT launch video that this is a gussied up body wax remover. This one is has a slightly bigger tub and heating element, both of which help fit bike chains better. When flinging wax north of 200F, I'll take the enhanced ease of use. If you don't have time and scrap to DIY your own stand and chain leash, the premium on this isn't anything crazy. It was worth saving two hours of time and getting it done today.

No mess!

I've been using this waxing stand for about a week now, and it works as described. Great product! I converted all of my bikes to have waxed chains and didn't make a mess at all. Great design.

Let the chain waxing begin

Very pleased with the wax melter, works as it should. Built well and does just as advertised. I have waxed 7 chains so far for my friends and I. I would definitely recommend the Silca wax and melter.
