It can be tough to find a good cycling shoe for commuting and general riding around town. Most clip-less shoes are designed with on-the-bike in mind, and are therefore often impractical for walking around in. Not these Crank Brothers Mallets! Head into the JensonUSA Blog for my in-depth review.
Endless exploring, overnight adventures, rough backroads and gravel trails, there are a lot of ideas about what gravel is. Gravity riding calls for steep, technical riding, jumps, and drops and requires more capable bikes and gear than your average type of mountain riding. So when my last pair of flat pedal shoes were reaching the end of their life, I knew my next upgrade needed to be a pair of gravity-oriented shoes that could help soften some blows. Ride Concepts has always been a reputable brand, so I decided to give their Powerline shoes a try. Click in to read my full review.
New rubber on your rig may elicit fantastic dreams of drifting corners, cutting berms and hookingup at crucial moments, but the sheer thought of getting those new tubeless tires mounted, inflated and seated can cloud those dreams with dread. The reality is that as mountain bike technology has evolved exponentially year after year, that silly little Presta valve you’ve been cursing has held steadfast for nearly a century. A CENTURY!?!?!
Until today.
We all know that Jeff Kendall-Weed can absolutely send it on some of the most creative lines that a backwoods mountain bike trail can offer. Often this means Jeff chooses bikes with a lot of travel to handle what he throws at them. We challenged Jeff to try out something a bit shorter travel and see how well he'd get along with the SB130 Lunch Ride edition bike from Yeti. Check out his first look and 1 month ride review video inside this article to see what Jeff thinks of this short travel bruiser of a bike.
